A Very Special Thanks: Memorial of 6/9/12
Thanks be to the entire community of Santa Cruz for making our public ceremony in honor of Shannon Kathleen Collins so meaningful. Christine Brooks artfully led the memorial, with contributions from Violet Smith, Chip of the Santa Cruz Downtown Association, Matt and Corinna Bellizzi, Lynn Robinson and Shannon's husband - Ken Vinson.
One of Shannon's favorite local bands, Sambada played a beautiful set in her honor at the beginning and conclusion of the memorial.
Video of the celebration was captured by David Smith, a friend of the family and will be posted here for those who were unable to attend.
